Project Manager

Singapore

The Project Manager shall:

1. Lead the planning and/or execution of Asset Enhancements at Retail Centres, Retrofitting existing Hotel, New Residential Developments and Office Fit-out.

2. Assist with new development project in Japan.

3. Works with the centre & property management team to identify, organise & execute areas of improvements – building equipment / systems and operational processes.

4. Have the opportunity to be transferred / re-designated as a permanent staff, if and when need arises.

 

 

Job Scope

 Project Management

  •  Lead the end-user, design consultants and trade contractors, in implementation of retrofitting existing hotel and new residential projects as well as fitting out new office.

  • Establish Project Requirements, including design, functional and operational requirements.

  • Establish Project Team, including engagement of design consultants and trade contractors through a tender process.

  • Manage the work deliverables in accordance with approved budget and timeline.

Property Improvement

  • Plan, organize and supervise Improvements initiatives, including:

  • Identify areas and/or processes for improvement with the intent to improve operational efficiency, staff productivity and asset value.

  • Supervise (internal & external) stakeholders on implementation of approved execution strategy and plans.

 

Job Requirements

  • Completed Full-Time Tertiary Education, quantity surveying, architectural, civil/structural or mechanical/electrical engineering.

  • At least 10-years project management experience in Singapore:

  • Project management experience in regional countries will be considered favourably.

  • Those will less than 10-years of project management experience shall be considered at Assistant Project Manager level.

  • Planned and/or implemented fit-out and/or A&A in an operational building, new build, as well as process re-engineering / improvement projects.

  • Practical knowledge of database systems.

  • Drafting of contractual requirements, performance standards, operating procedures.

  • Worked with multi-function groups, e.g. end-user / operations, finance, legal, internal audit.
